Saturday, February 13 is a big day. No, not Galentine’s Day. Not the Superbowl either. It’s our birthday! This year is a big milestone — we turn 21. That means, we have 21 years of planting, classes, events, mapping, advocacy, and conservation under our belt.
A lot has changed (the technology, the fashion, etc) but some things have remained the same: our steadfast and unwavering commitment to 40% canopy by 2032; educating the next generation of stewards; ensuring a green, not gray, future for Washington; and the love, support, and enthusiasm of our community of volunteers.
