Hire our ISA-certified arborists to prune your trees.

Our crews primarily do structural pruning on young trees, up to about 25 feet tall. This type of pruning builds strong trees and enhances their natural beauty. As a nonprofit committed to enhancing and protecting the urban canopy in DC, our crews are not able to shear trees or hedges or remove healthy native trees.

Please note that it’s generally better to prune in winter for tree health. However, other times of year may be ok for healthy trees, depending on the species.

Remember that Casey Trees offers free trees to DC residents, schools, and the greater community. If you are requesting a tree planting in DC, visit our planting page instead.

Please submit the information below, and we’ll reach out to follow up on your request.
