We’ve put together quite a few maps of D.C.’s trees – from trees we’ve measured and identified, to the beloved citywide cherry blossoms, to the other showy blooming trees, and even where to see fall foliage in the District. One thing this coronavirus pandemic has taught us is there is a treasure trove of trees right around our homes and the desire to know more about trees close by. With that in mind, we’re proud to announce our Trees Near Me Map, which highlights well, trees by you! This map contains practically every tree we have data for – trees that the city has planted in street tree spots, trees we’ve inventoried as part of our Park Inventory program, and trees we’ve planted at our Community and School Tree Plantings.
Check out the shiny and new Trees Near Me map below and start exploring your neighborhood! Know a place to plant more? Let us know here.
