Multiple Events Every Weekend for the Next Four Weeks: Join Us Outside

Boy oh boy when we said this was our busiest season yet we weren’t kidding. Starting this weekend, and going on for the next month, we have *multiple* events every weekend. No rest for the weary and not just one event, two events – and sometimes three (looking at you Oct. 27)! Celebrate October and the return of fall-like weather, which is allegedly around the corner, and join us outside. We need you! There is truly something for everyone.

Weekend of October 12:
Gallaudet University Community Tree Planting | October 12
Dakota Crossing Community Tree Planting | October 13
Fort Reno Park Inventory| October 13

Weekend of October 19:
Palisades Spray Park Park Inventory | October 18
Ohev and Elesavetgrad Community Tree Planting | October 19
Langdon Park Inventory | October 20
Casey Tree Farm Planting | October 20

Weekend of October 26:
Dakota Playground Park Inventory | October 27
Carver Terrace Community Tree Planting | October 27
Tree Identification Workshop | October 27

Weekend of November 2:
Shoreham Drive Community Tree Planting | November 3
Mt. Olivet Cemetery Community Tree Planting | November 3

Don’t like getting sweaty and dirty at Community Tree Plantings? Try an Inventory.

Want something Metro Accessible? We’ve got you.

Would you rather strap on your helmet and enjoy a leisurely bike ride to an event? Meander up the scenic Anacostia Riverwalk Trail and marvel that you’re in a major metropolitan area before you add trees to a National Aquatic Park.

Curious about new neighborhoods in D.C.? There are inventories and plantings in every corner of the District.

Want to give back your community and focus on nature during this chaotic news cycle (or year?) Join us outside and reap the benefits of community engagement and greenspace.

If an event is full, check out one of the many other events going on that weekend. A new event or area might surprise you! We’ll see you out there. Share your weekend re-treeing adventures with us @CaseyTrees.
