Volunteer Registration Now Open

From March 12 to May 7, Casey Trees will plant more than 730 trees across 21 sites through its School and Community Tree Planting programs. Notable sites receiving trees include the Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Armed Forces Retirement Home and Congressional Cemetery.

All trees planted through both initiatives — along with those added through our RiverSmart Homes Shade Tree, Tree Rebate and other programs — will inch the District closer to its 40 percent by 2032 citywide canopy goal.

And the good news? Volunteer registration is now open for select sites.

Discover all our spring planting locations on our interactive map or click on individual sites accepting volunteers below. You will find returning friends like Tregaron Conservancy alongside first-timers such as Wingz of Lyfe Community Garden.

If your preferred planting site is already full, consider becoming a Member at the Ally level or greater to receive priority registration for future volunteer opportunities and select invitations.
