Headquarters

Since October 2011, Casey Trees has called Brookland in Northeast D.C. home. The opening of our headquarters was the culmination of years of careful consideration by our Board of Directors. For three years, the board searched for a location that would enable us to better serve the D.C. community, advance our mission, and marry our administrative and field operations into one location.

For our office at 3030 12th Street NE, we renovated the existing structure and added an additional 4,500 square feet to accommodate our growing staff and number of classes and workshops. The site boasts a bioretention planter to capture stormwater and three green roofs and a white roof to reduce our energy intake. These and other green features qualified our headquarters to be invited to participate in the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) Pilot Program.

Our tree yard sits across the street and serves as a staging ground for planting workshops and volunteer activities.
