There are so many ways to support our mission and your love for the trees here are a few we want to remind you of!
- Wear your heart on your sleeve..er head with our For the Trees hat. Simple and effective, strut your stuff around town or on-screen to show off some hometown pride or wear it while traveling to approving nods from the DC’ers on the go or your travels this summer.
- Take the “25 to Stay Alive” Watering Pledge! Newly planted trees — those that have been in the ground less than three years — require 25 gallons of water, approximately 1.5 inches of rainfall, per week to survive. Every Monday from May 1 through September 30, we post a tree watering alert in our weekly newsletter, our homepage, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Pledge now to get a freebie!
- Share with a friend – whether it is the pledge, a funny meme, or a petition for more trees we encourage you to press that forward button. Be the neighborhood tree hero!
- Sign up to get free trees! AND tell your neighbor about it!
- Become a Member and get early access to our upcoming summer season, we launch in just a few days!
