It’s our Phenology February Final! (phew, say that three times fast). This is it, the final showdown – after weeks of fierce competition and hundreds of votes cast, we’re down to our last two contenders: Tuliptree vs. American Sycamore.
In the semi-final round, Tuliptree triumphed over Southern Magnolia with 61% of the vote, proving that its stunning flowers and towering presence continue to win hearts. Meanwhile, American Sycamore dominated its matchup against Willow Oak, claiming a decisive 70% of the vote. Its resilience and iconic mottled bark have made it an undeniable fan favorite.
Now, it all comes down to this—Tuliptree and American Sycamore battling it out for the ultimate title in Phenology February. Which tree will claim victory? Your votes will decide!
