Saturday, 12/7 – Community Tree Planting: Langley Terrace Apartments
Join us for a Community Tree Planting at Langley Terrace Apartments! We’ll provide the tools, training, and guidance—you bring the energy to help green the community. Work in teams to plant trees and make a lasting impact. Sign up today!

Saturday, 12/7 – CCAN Invasive Vine Removal at Oxon Run Park

Saturday, 12/14 – CCAN Invasive Vine Removal at Catholic University Woods
Join our partners at Chesapeake Climate Action Network to tackle invasive vines at Catholic University Woods! Start with hands-on training in vine removal, then dive into the forest to remove invasive species like porcelainberry, English ivy, and kudzu. Make a real impact on DC’s urban forest!

Saturday, 12/21 – Rooted in Nature, Winter Solstice Gathering

Join us for reflective nature time, crafts, tea and snacks that give thanks to our trees as they enter the winter months. We will gather on this transition day and acknowledge it as the shortest day of the year, and the darkest. Learn about the work we do to protect our trees, gather with the community, and enjoy some down time with the start of winter.

If you love attending our events, consider donating to Casey Trees to help keep our programming going! Casey Trees relies on the support of friends, neighbors, and volunteers like you to make our work possible. Consider becoming a Casey Trees Member today and receive some incredible perks and benefits – all while doing your part to help build a greener place for us all to live.
