Online Event: Native Trees for Your Garden and Neighborhood

Spring is within sight and it’s time to start dreaming up planting plans and home improvement projects. There’s no better way to bring beauty and wildlife habitat to your yard, neighborhood, or local school than by planting a native tree.

We’re joining Capital Nature on March 4 from 12-1 pm for a presentation on tree species that thrive naturally in the Washington, DC area, and how to select the right ones for a site. We’ll consider conditions for which locally-adapted cultivars may also be appropriate. You’ll be introduced to organizations and government agencies that provide free expertise and even free trees!

Tickets are free, but registration is required. We’ll see you there!
