The Casey Trees High School Summer Crew is tasked each summer with watering some of the thousands of recently planted trees—most vulnerable to summer heat.

Last week were our Summer Crew applicants down to Ledroit Park for a tryout. The Crew bikes all over the city, carries water, buckets and gear in order to help newly planted trees survive. Here are a few photos from their tryouts and the official Crew line up!
