Open Streets in Your Neighborhood is coming to Ward 5’s 12th Street NE on June 4th! Open Streets promotes healthy living and community building by closing down streets to cars and opening them up to people. It’s a great place to connect with others and learn more about people and organizations that work in your neighborhood. The event will close half a mile of 12th Street NE to cars and open them up to people to ride, bike, walk, socialize, and participate in fun programming, just in time for summer!
Come find us outside 3030 12th Street NE and learn about everything Casey Trees has to offer. Whether you’re looking for ways to get involved this summer, want to know how to get free trees, or are looking for fun, educational opportunities for the whole family – we have options for you.
