Warmer days are here! And it’s a great time to spend the day outside planting trees with us—bringing shade, greenery, and other environmental benefits to our communities.

We have several fun events this month, where we’ll show you the tools and techniques for planting trees. Explore April’s events below and register today.

Friday, April 4 – Community Tree Planting: Banneker Place Apartments

Join Casey Trees as we partner with the Washington Wizards on a very special community planting at Banneker Place Apartments! You just show up, and we’ll provide the tools, supplies, breakfast, and music. Participants will receive hands-on training on-site. After learning the tools and techniques, participants will be divided into groups supervised by a trained volunteer Team Leader and begin planting trees throughout the space.

Saturday, April 19 – Hyattsville Arbor Day Celebration and Community Tree Planting: University Hills Duck Pond

Join us as we return to University Hills’ Duck Pond Park in Hyattsville to plant trees in this impactful community greenspace! You provide the volunteers, we provide all the necessary tools and supplies to plant the trees. Support our community at one of our exciting Hyattsville sites and discover a new greenspace, potentially one you’ve never explored before.

Saturday, April 26 – Arbor Day Community Tree Planting: Northwest Parks Apartments

Celebrate Arbor Day with Casey Trees! Join us as we plant trees at Northwest Park Apartments with HITT Construction. You provide the volunteers, we provide all the necessary tools and supplies to plant the trees. Participants will receive hands-on training on-site. After learning the tools and techniques, participants will be split up into groups supervised by a trained volunteer Team Leader and begin planting trees throughout the space.
