Last Chance to Apply for the GCA Fellowship

Attention all grad and advanced undergrad students studying urban forestry! The Garden Club of America’s urban forestry fellowship deadline is JANUARY 15! Don’t miss your chance at $7,500!

Eligibility is open to advanced undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in U.S. institutions studying urban forestry, environmental studies, horticulture, forestry, or related programs. For full eligibility requirements and to learn more about the application process, visit our Fellowships page.

We’re pleased to partner with the GCA to administer the GCA VI Fellowship in Urban Forestry, which aims to advance the field of urban forestry and encourage students to study the planning, management, horticulture, and ecology of urban forests and the effect of healthy urban forests on people and the environment.

Founded in 1913, The Garden Club of America (GCA) is a volunteer nonprofit organization comprised of almost 200 member clubs and approximately 18,000 club members throughout the country. To promote a greater understanding of the interdependence of horticulture, environmental protection, and community involvement, GCA offers 29 different merit-based scholarships and annually awards over $300,000. We help administer, unsurprisingly, the Urban Forestry Fellowship.
