We’re back with more opportunities to support local DMV tree plantings through sporting events! As we’ve said before – sports and the outdoors go hand in hand, so many of our favorite athletes started their sports careers in local parks. It only makes sense to give back and make sure our parks stay cool and shady for many years to come.

Coming up quick, we have the Washington Capitals Earth Day Game! Casey Trees and The Washington Capitals invite you to celebrate Earth Day with us during the game against the New York Islanders TONIGHT, April 10th at 7pm! $5 from each ticket sold will support the planting and care of trees in the most needed areas of the city such as Fort Dupont and Anacostia Parks. With only three games left in the season, you’re not going to want to miss this – ticket sales made through the special promotional link will also receive a free reusable weagle tote bag!

Then later this month, come out to show your support for trees at the Washington Spirit Sustainability Night! Join us in watching the Washington Spirit vs. Houston Dash match on April 22nd at 7pm. Each ticket purchased through this link will include a $5 donation to Casey Trees. We’ve worked with the Spirit before to plant 60 trees in Anacostia Park and they’ve also adopted the Anacostia River as part of their commitment to the city and sustainability. We admire their dedication to supporting ecological efforts throughout the District and are so grateful to be working with them again!
