Fall is a time of cozy weather, nostalgic scary movies, and more candy than anyone can physically eat – with spooky season in full swing, we’re bringing you some tree inspired costumes to get you styled tree-mendously for Halloween this year! 

Giving Tree 

Everyone knows and loves The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, spice up a regular tree costume by carrying around a basket of apples and giving them out to people! This fun and interactive Halloween costume is a great conversation piece if you’re going to a party, out on the town, or just hanging with friends. 

Captain Planet

If you were a 90’s kid, you probably remember the eco-conscious icon Captain Planet. A superhero who fights against the evils of climate change and teaches people to stand up for the environment. Even though he isn’t Spider-man or Batman, he’s an environmental activist and, therefore, the coolest superhero in our boat! 

Groot or Baby Groot 

Getting inspired by our list of mystical trees, perfect your best bark look by dressing up as the one and only Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. Branch hands optional. For our junior tree huggers – an adorable Baby Groot is both cute and iconic! 

Bob Ross and his “Happy Trees” 

Painter Bob Ross is known for painting “happy little trees” on his PBS program The Joy of Painting. Bring joy to everyone you see on Halloween by going as Ross himself, or pairing up with a friend. One can go as Ross and the other person can be one of those happy trees Bob created. Also – Remember to join us Sunday, October 30th for ANXO’s Happy Trees Festival.   

Chia Pet 

You know it’s what you’ve always wanted – a way to turn your real pet into a Chia Pet! Follow your nostalgia with a Chia Pet, Pet Costume, and while we wouldn’t recommend watering your dog like a Chia, we know it will look just as cute.

Casey Trees Volunteer or Staffer 

Grab a CT swag item from the store, dawn your favorite high-vis, Duck tape name tag, and roll around in the dirt. A shovel is optional.
