While for many Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer, the holiday is observed to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our beautiful country. There are many ways to honor folks, and no way is right or wrong, and planting a memorial tree is a perfect token of remembrance.

We have a number of commemorative tree options, all of which honor and celebrate the people and events that have touched and shaped lives. During tree dedications, one of our commemorative gift options, folks join our volunteers and team at a Community Tree Plantingers to be a part of planting their desired tree. Plus, their tree is included in our Tree Dedications Map!  

The Tree Dedications Map is our way of publicly acknowledging these special commemorative gifts. By clicking on a particular tree, you can see the name of the honoree as well as the date, location, and tree species of each dedication.
