This new decade brings many changes and Casey Trees is no exception. Therefore, we’re excited to expand our annual flagship event, the Canopy Awards, into a tremendous Arbor Day Bash. We’ll still toast five winners who work in tandem with Casey Trees’ mission to restore, enhance and protect the tree canopy of our nation’s capital. But we’ll also spend the evening reveling with friends, partners, and supporters while bringing more people to the table (literally!). 

You’re cordially invited to the Arbor Day Bash: Celebrating the 2020 Canopy Awards!

Our flagship event highlights the accomplishments of those working to enhance DC’s tree canopy and make the city we love more livable for us all. There’s no better way to celebrate Arbor Day on April 24.

This year’s event will be in two parts – the awards presentation with dinner from 6:00 to 8:00pm, and the larger celebratory Bash from 8:00 to 11:00pm with endless drinks and dessert. Tickets are available for the full event or just the Bash.

This is a 21+ event and identification will be checked at the door. Ticket rate is per person.

FOOD & DRINK: A full-service meal is included with tickets to the dinner only. Open bar for the duration of the event is included with all ticket types.

GETTING THERE: Free parking available in the Neal Place lot or on the street. You can also take the Red Line to the NoMA-Gallaudet U stop. Turn right on Florida Avenue NE. Turn left on 5th Street NE. Union Market will be on your right. Plus, there are plenty of Bike racks are available.

ACCESSIBILITY: Dock 5 offers an elevator and ramp access.

ATTIRE:  Casual cocktail attire is suggested, however, not required. Dress to have fun and mingle.
