Volunteer and Visit the Casey Tree Farm

Our Fall Planting Season is full  – most volunteer spots are taken and we have plenty of exciting events, lovely locations, and caring communities we’re working with this year. If you’re still itching to plant or have ever been curious about our nursery where (most) of our trees come from in Berryville, VA we have a great opportunity for you, planting at the Casey Tree Farm!

Ready for a farm day? We are! Join Casey Trees in planting our 5th field in our organic tree farm.

This will be a long workday, starting at 9am and finishing at 2pm. We will be planting (2000+) small trees in grow bags, pulling drip irrigation tubing, and installing tree stakes.

Afterward, enjoy a grilled lunch and the beauty of Clarke County and our Farm. Come ready to get dirty and leave very tired! Register here.

Please note:
You are responsible for transportation to and from our Farm. Total travel time from the District is about 1.5 hours. There will be a picnic at the end of the event (2pm). We encourage you to bring snacks and a reusable water bottle for working in the field. Picnic Lunch will be hotdogs, baked beans, and chips. We are unable to provide alternative foods for other diets, so please pack a lunch if this meal does not meet your dietary restrictions.
