Tree Advocate Meeting This Thursday

Ever wonder how our nation’s capital creates and maintains green spaces in D.C.? Join us this Thursday, May 12, for an inside look at how the District does just that!

We invited the Office of Planning and local experts to explain how they create, protect and maintain areas for trees and green spaces in their designs.

The feature speakers include:

Tanya Stern, Deputy Director, D.C. Office of Planning
Keith Pitchford, Principal ISA Certified Arborist, Keith Pitchford Associates
Evan Goldman, Vice President of Acquisitions and Development, EYA

Our speakers will discuss innovative approaches to planning that preserve trees and green spaces for their shade, recreational, stormwater management, and aesthetic benefits.

Aside from this stacked lineup of speakers, there will also be updates from our advocacy team, interactive activities and time for questions.

Be sure to register here before space runs out!
