December and January can be a busy time with the holidays and friends and family but squeeze in some time for yourself and register for an upcoming Casey Trees class, workshop or tree tour. Advance registration is required for each so don’t delay.

Friday, December 4                     Buds Story Time at the Hill Center
Get your little ones excited about trees with stories and songs about trees. Includes place-based scavenger hunt and crafts. Free

Sunday, December 6                      Winter Tree Identification at Casey Tree Farm
Don’t let tree with no leaves on them be a mystery to you — boost your tree i.d.! Free

Saturday, December 12                 Buds Story Time at Rock Creek Park Nature Center

Saturday, January 9                         Pruning Workshop
Learn the fundamentals of pruning young trees using hand tools. Free
This workshop is sold out.

Sunday, January 24                         National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Winter Tree Tour
Trees and sculpture go hand in hand. Join the tour led by acclaimed naturist Melanie Choukas-Bradley.

Priority registration extended to Ally Members and above. Email access link forthcoming.

$25 per person. Registration includes guided tour, Casey Trees thermos and hot chocolate.
