TREE CARE FAQs

Still have questions about our pruning services? Check out some of the most commonly asked questions about our tree planting services.

Does Casey Trees do tree removal?

We may do tree removal if the tree is small, in poor health, and is part of clearing out space for a new tree planting; but in most cases, we do not remove trees. For a list of certified arborists that serve your area, go to goodtreecare.com.

What kind of pruning do Casey Trees arborists provide?

Our arborists primarily offer structural pruning, which is pruning that builds strong tres and enhances their natural beauty. It also proactively works to avoid dangerous or unsightly limb loss.

Can you shear trees or hedges for residents?

We can’t. We’re also not able to remove healthy, native trees. We do not normally perform pollard pruning, or any pruning that would unnecessarily compromise the tree’s growth.

What age and height trees do you prune?

We prune young trees, up to 25’ tall. We do not perform mature tree pruning, which requires specialized and heavy equipment.
