We’re officially in the semi-final round, and the competition is tighter than ever as our top contenders inch closer to the ultimate title. The tree-loving community has cast their votes—let’s break down the latest matchups and see which trees are still standing tall!
In a nail-biting contest, Southern Magnolia beat out Bald Cypress with 52% of the vote. The Magnolia’s glossy evergreen leaves and iconic blooms proved just enough to push it into the semi-finals.
American Sycamore continued its dominant run, claiming 58% of the vote against Red Maple. Its signature peeling bark and stately form have clearly captured the admiration of voters.
Tuliptree secured a solid victory over Eastern Redbud, garnering 59% of the vote. With its distinctive tulip-shaped flowers and towering height, Tuliptree’s popularity shows no signs of slowing.
Lastly, Willow Oak made a strong statement, claiming 62% of the vote over Swamp White Oak. Its sleek leaves and adaptability have cemented its place as a true fan favorite.
