Casey Trees is partnering up with ANXO DC to bring you ‘Happy Trees’ cider! For every can of ‘Happy Trees’ sold in their restaurant ANXO will donate .40 cents to Casey Trees, as a reminder of our 40% tree canopy goal.
We’ll be kicking off this newfound friendship at ANXO’s Happy Trees Festival on Sunday, October 30th. Celebrating the birthday of famed icon Bob Ross, join us for live apple pressing, hot mulled cider, a dog costume contest and more! And if you can’t come out to the festival – don’t fret! Stop into ANXO anytime before the end of the year to get yourself a ‘Happy Trees’ cider and support Casey Trees in the process.
ANXO is located in Brightwood at 711 Kennedy Street NW. Aside from our partnership, they are also asking people to bring in foraged apples for them to make a limited run cider, with all proceeds going to the DC Abortion Fund. You can support them in this effort by bringing them foraged apples – but you may want to do this soon, as apple season is quickly coming to an end.
