Human Resources Assistant
Under the direction of the Human Resources Generalist, the Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions related to employee relations, recruiting, benefits, training and development, and other. The incumbent is organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to manage multiple assignments to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant outputs. The incumbent also must be able to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing, is diplomatic, and adheres to strict confidentiality protocols when handling privileged and confidential information.  

Tree Planting Crew
The Tree Planting Crew executes various field operations for all tree planting, care and related activities. This individual receives direction from the Urban Forestry Crew Chief(s) through the Urban Forestry Manager and the Director of Tree Planting. The Tree Planting Crew works with internal/external stakeholders, including TP Arborists, other CT departments, community volunteers, summer crews, etc. This is a full-time, year-round position with competitive benefits upon hire.

Arborist – Field Supervisor
The Arborist-Field Supervisor executes the day-to-day operations for all tree planting, care and related activities in the Tree Planting Department, including the management/oversight of Tree Planting Crew members and their daily tasks. The position is also responsible for use, maintenance, inventory and management of all vehicles, tools and equipment. The Arborist-Field Supervisor reports to the Urban Forestry Manager and interfaces with members of other departments in the execution of their work. The incumbent maintains a general knowledge of best practices in horticulture, forestry, and urban forestry in order to achieve the mission of Casey Trees.

Bookkeeper/Grant Administrator
The Bookkeeper/Grant Administrator oversees a variety of bookkeeping and grant management functions, activities, and programs. The incumbent is highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to manage multiple assignments, and internal and external relationships to ensure accurate and timely outputs. As a team member of our nonprofit organization, the incumbent advocates for Casey Trees’ mission and in particular, the motto: connecting people to trees, through trees, and to Casey Trees.

Casey Tree Farm Field Crew
Casey Tree Farm is seeking immediate Farm Laborers! Qualified individuals will have experience working with tractors, mowers, small equipment, power tools and hand tools. Duties will include tree production, grounds and facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance/repair, etc. Expected hours of work will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M and 4:30 PM with option of overtime hours. The incumbent must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours, as needed.
