March came in like a lion for sure. With wind gusts up to 71 mph, schools closed, the federal government closed, and numerous planes, trains, and automobiles halted, it’s safe to say bomb cyclone #2 left its mark on the DMV.

Wind can wreak havoc on trees, so after the blustery weekend, we thought it was appropriate to pull these pre and post-storm resources back out. Save (or rescue!) yourself and your trees from some hassle with our tips including who to contact about a downed street tree, how to be proactive about questionable trees, and what to do if a tree is down near a power line
