We Have Open Planting Slots and We’re Ready to Plant! Are You?
From colorful foliage to ideal bike-to-work temperatures, we’re big fans of fall at Casey Trees. It’s also one of our busiest times of year for Community Tree Planting and inventory events. Between early October and mid-December, we’re set to plant over 400 new trees through 12 events across D.C. – you can help us!
Never planted a tree before? Don’t know how to inventory trees? That’s ok! Our certified team leaders and citizen foresters help ensure successful plantings and inventories, so there’s no experience required. Whether you want to see more trees in your community or want to explore a new part of the city, our events are an awesome way to enjoy autumn while working alongside other volunteers.
Sign-ups for fall planting and care events are open now, but don’t wait too long! We’re already expecting over 500 volunteers this season and volunteer spots fill up fast. Our Israel Baptist planting this weekend has tons of open volunteer slots though – but hop to it these go fast!
