Help Make D.C. the Cleanest, Greenest, and Healthiest City – Comment on Sustainable DC 2.0

As our city grows, there is also a need for Sustainable DC to evolve! To reflect changes in the District since the initial release of the Sustainable DC plan five years ago, the Department of Energy and Environment has launched a collaborative community engagement process – Sustainable DC 2.0 – to get public feedback on what the District’s sustainability priorities and goals should be for the plan update. It is imperative that the next iteration of the plan accurately reflect broad opinions throughout the city.

To ensure that this is possible, the SDC 2.0 campaign is a dedicated effort throughout Summer 2017 to “pop-up” at as many events, neighborhoods, and city venues as possible to retain surveys from the people. The SDC 2.0 campaign is also working to engage and educate the people so that they are empowered to write their own sustainable stories.

Please take 3 to 5 minutes to fill out this short survey about the Sustainable DC plan. The goal of this plan is to make D.C. the cleanest, greenest, and healthiest city in the nation by 2032. In order to do this, this plan must make significant investments in the people of the District to include residents, employees, and enjoyers of the city and the neighborhoods that they live, work, or play in.

Nobody is better suited to tells us what they think about the communities that we are impacting than YOU! Your opinion would be greatly appreciated and your feedback really matters. Remember, keep it real.
