Volunteer: Tree Care at Battery Kemble Park
Give young trees a fighting chance by volunteering at Battery Kemble Park on July 18 — next Saturday morning — to remove invasive species and weed, water and mulch newly planted trees, including 41 new trees we planted at the park last fall.
If you volunteer, you’ll also get the chance to meet our new Volunteer Coordinator Erica Young! But hurry and register — there are only eight open spots left and registration is first-come, first-serve.
The Battery Kemble Park tree care event is made possible with funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund.
