We are currently only scheduling pruning for winter months (the best time to prune), and only able to prune or remove small trees (around 15-20 feet maximum). If you are inquiring about service for larger trees, we ask that you contact a local certified arborist.

Street trees - which are usually located in the public space between the street and the sidewalk - are planted and maintained by the District's Urban Forestry Administration (UFA), a department of DDOT.

Requests for a street tree to be inspected, planted, pruned or removed can be made by calling the service request center at 311 or making the request online. Hold on to your confirmation number to track progress on your request.

Casey Trees already has a couple programs for Washington, DC homeowners to plant trees on their property. Before moving forward with this form, be sure that one of these low-cost programs below does not already fit your needs:
