Tregaron Conservancy Tree Walk with Capital Nature

Join Casey Trees and Capital Nature for an easy paced, 75-minute tree appreciation and identification walk at Tregaron Conservancy. Connect with nature, learn about the various benefits of a healthy tree canopy, and learn to identify key tree species in the District. No prior tree identification experience is necessary! The newly updated Casey Trees species guides will be available as an add-on when you purchase your ticket online.

What to expect: An easy walk among a variety of tree species, stopping to identify trees and connect with nature. Species guides will be available to use to identify trees.

Time: Check in will begin at 10:00 am. The walk will start by 10:15 am and last for approximately 75 minutes

Where to meet: Meet at 3100 Macomb Street, the entrance to the conservancy.

What to bring: Your own reusable water bottle, comfortable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray. Lunch will not be provided at this event.

Public Transportation: The closest Metro station is the Cleveland Park Station, along the red line.

Biking: The location is accessible by bike. Bikes may be locked to nearby signs.

Parking: Limited street parking is available nearby.
