Tree ID Walk: Palisades Recreation Center

Are you enthused and curious about the naturally rooted structures around you? Want to learn what trees are in your community? Kick off summer with Casey Trees and the Department of Parks and Recreation as we introduce you to tools to help identify trees in your neighborhood.
This class is geared toward anyone who is interested in building confidence and honing their tree identification.
- All volunteers must sign a completed volunteer waiver form on the day of the event before participating.
- No specific skills required. The event will start with a tool safety and pruning demonstration. Volunteers will have access to a National Park Service employee for any questions that arise.
- Register in advance. Space is limited. If your plans change prior to the event, please update your registration status so we are sure to have the necessary number of volunteers.
- Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required. All necessary tools and safety gear will be provided.
