Meet Your Neighbors: Celebrate Pollinator Week with Casey Trees
Tue June 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDTFree
Take a lunchtime break with Casey Trees! Join us Tuesday, June 21st for a lunchtime neighborhood walk to celebrate Pollinator Week. We’ll discuss native pollinator species and the benefits of native host plants in the urban environment.
Come out to learn more and meet your neighbors with Casey Trees Horticulturist, Maddie. No experience in identifying trees or plants is necessary!
The newly updated Casey Trees species guides will be available as an add-on when you purchase your ticket online (note: purchase of a species guide is not a ticket for admission).
What to expect: An easy walk around the Eastern Market neighborhood, stopping to identify trees, rain gardens, and connect with nature. Species guides will be available to use to identify trees.
Time: Check in will begin at 12:00pm. Please plan to arrive promptly.
What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a filled reusable water bottle if you wish, and weather-appropriate clothing.
COVID-19 Policy: Casey Trees is now requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend our events. One of the following options will demonstrate proof of vaccination:
– A physical Center for Disease Control (CDC) Vaccination Card

Please bring a photo ID and one of the above listed options to provide proof of vaccination. You may not be asked to show proof of vaccination during our outdoor event, however you may need to show proof of vaccination to use any indoor facilities.
