Residential Tree Planting Workshop
October 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm EDTFree
Do you have a space you are looking to plant a tree, but don’t know how?
Join us as we take you through the steps on how to make a young tree succeed.
Participants will learn how to identify the leading causes of young tree death and how to properly plant a tree to ensure a long and healthy life. We will share tree planting resources, design considerations and programs that could allow you to save money on tree planting at your home or for your neighborhood (DC-focused programs). The classroom portion will be followed by a brief capstone tree planting demonstration.
