Langdon Park Tree Walk with Canopy Award Honoree Mary Pat Rowan

Thu April 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am EDT

Join Casey Trees and neighborhood champions Mary Pat Rowan and Delores Bushong for a tour of the forest patch at Langdon Park

Join us at Langdon Park for a tour of the newly improved forest patch and learn more about the conservation efforts happening at the park!

Hear from Volunteer Service Canopy Awards Honoree Mary Pat Rowan, and previous Canopy Award Honoree Delores Bushong, as they walk us through their efforts in Langdon Park. Walk along the new 700 ft trail cut through the patch, see the first hand positive effects of invasive species control, and learn about the urban forest regeneration research study at the park!

Our efforts at Langdon are part of a new year-long climate resiliency program, under the District of Columbia Community Stormwater Solutions Grant.
