Introducing Our Monthly Meet-Ups!

Starting Thursday, July 25, we’re hosting a monthly meet up around the District. Come grab coffee with Casey Trees staff while we talk about upcoming events, advocacy actions, and more! As a gift to any and all who join us, we’ll have free rain gauges, koozies and reusable straws to ensure you and your trees can beat the heat.

Have an idea to improve our programs? Wondering how will the historic rainfall and subsequent flooding impact young and old trees in our area? Does the D.C. Comprehensive Plan affect our city’s trees in any way? What are the updates coming to Dupont Circle with the long awaited and sometimes controversial Connecticut Avenue Streetscape project?

This is an informal way for you to meet and greet with Casey Trees staff while grabbing a drink and some goodies. Come join us Thursday, July 25 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm at Ebenezers Coffeehouse (201 F St. NE – 2nd & F) by Union Station. You’re welcome to stay for one iced coffee, or hang and craft your testimony with friends.

You can come for part of the time or you can stay for the whole time, it’s your choice. Click here to sign up. We look forward to seeing you!

Who Should Attend?
Anyone interested in advocating for trees in our District! You do not need to have prior background in advocating (for trees or anything else) to join us!

Treat Options
You will have the option of coffee, tea, and pastries. Please note your dietary preferences and/or allergies when registering so we can attempt to accommodate your needs.
