An Insider’s Guide to the District’s Best Festivals: Become an Outreach Volunteer

Love events like Kingman Island Bluegrass Festival, H Street Fest, Crafty Bastards, D.C. State Fair or Farmer’s Markets? Do you you also like telling people about the importance of an urban canopy? Become an outreach volunteer! Planting, pruning, and caring for trees is not the only way to help us advance our mission. We need all the help we can get spreading the word about Casey Trees throughout the District.

With so many events to go to and so few people, we need Outreach Volunteers to get the word out about our planting, education, advocacy and other programs — and encourage new individuals to participate in them!

Outreach volunteers should be outgoing, willing to talk to people of all backgrounds, and eager to learn more about all our programs and initiatives. Interested? Submit an application today to join in the orientation session Thursday, June 14th where we’ll equip you with all the tools and knowledge you need. Questions? Feel free to reach out at 202-833-4010.
