This Thursday, Do More 24

You can do a lot in 24 hours — fly from D.C. to Tokyo and back, read a Dickens novel or binge watch 2 seasons of Game of Thrones.

This Thursday, June 2 you can join thousands of DMV residents and participate in this year’s Do More 24 campaign.

For those who are unfamiliar, Do More 24 is an annual day of local giving bringing together nonprofit organizations, partners and donors committed to creating an impact in the community. Do More 24 is powered by the United Way of the National Capital Area.

Last year over $1.4 million was raised, allowing nonprofit organizations to better serve people in the region and help fulfill their missions.

On Thursday, over 600 nonprofits from throughout the region will participate— and we are too!

Donation amounts are set to $24, $48, $124, $240, $480. Each donation to Casey Trees will go towards the cost of watering our newly-planted trees this summer — ensuring they have a chance to become a part of our robust urban forest canopy and shade generations to come.

So this Thursday, beginning at 12:00 AM visit our custom donation page to show your support. Donations will be accepted until 11:59 PM.

After you donate (or even if you don’t) spread the word about our participation using the below image in your social media posts, use the hashtag #DoMore24 and be sure to tag us (@CaseyTrees).

We hope you join us this Thursday. Thanks in advance for all your support.
