Chief Operating Officer and other exciting job opportunities
Casey Trees has an exciting opportunity to announce! We’re searching for a Chief Operating Officer to manage our day-to-day operations. This person will be charged with leading the strategic planning for each department, overseeing budget expenditures and motivating a highly skilled and diverse team to meet its annual goals.
Practical experience in human resources, planning, budgeting and business analysis required, and an MBA or similar advanced degree is desired.
Casey Trees is also hiring for three other positions:
An experienced and highly motivated Extension Arborist who loves working with both people and trees. This person will develop strategies for proactive outreach that supports Casey Trees’ mission to re-tree D.C. on public and private lands, and will work with both the general public and key decision makers and community leaders to facilitate and promote programs and partnerships, specifically in under-served neighborhoods.
A Digital Media Production Intern who will assist the Communications and Development team with video production, photography, copywriting and other projects related to Casey Trees’ mission.
A Development Intern who will assist with all aspects of Casey Trees’ fundraising operations, including, but not limited to: drafting donor correspondence, creating and updating donor contact records, developing strategies for multi-platform giving campaigns, preparing grant applications, staffing fundraising events and much more.
