Looking for a low-maintenance way to contribute to ongoing research and influence policy makers this summer, all on behalf of D.C.’s trees? You’re in luck.

For the second summer, Casey Trees is conducting a temperature study, and we need your help! We’ll be measuring the difference between air temperatures under the shade of a tree and in direct sun. You’ll be given two thermometers that can be left outside, and will just need to record the temperature on both thermometers three to five times per week.
