Livable Communities: Call for presenters

Join us this August 6 and 7 in Washington, D.C. as a presenter at our biennial conference for urban forestry researchers and practitioners — Livable Communities Through Urban Forestry.

Proposals are being accepted through May 1 for presentations and posters that highlight new and exciting findings within the fields of urban forestry, city planning and urban greening. Presentation selections will be made based on how well the proposal fits into at least one of three planned tracks — Sustainable Places through Citizen Engagement, Urban Trees and Changing Landscapes: Planning for the Future, and Re-Tree: Expanding Canopies in Growing Cities

Selected presenters will join our amazing roster of confirmed General Session Speakers at the conference, including:

  • Cecil Konijnendijk van den Bosch — President,  Arboricultural Research and Education Academy at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences
  • Peter Kageyema — Author, For the Love of Cities
  • Harriet Tregoning —Director, U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Economic Resilience
  • Suzanne H. Crowhurst Lennard, Co-Founder and Director, International Making Cities Livable Conference

Be part of the conversation this summer at the Livable Communities Through Urban Forestry conference. Submit your proposal by May 1.
