American Elm Restoration

Dutch elm disease (DED) devastated many historic elms across the country and here in DC. Still, there are thousands of beautiful elms in DC and Casey Trees is leading an effort to restore the American elm here. Learn more

Casey Trees' Water By-Cycle is the nation's first bicycle-powered program created to water and care for a city’s trees. Learn more

DC Street Trees

Street trees are trees located between the curb and sidewalk on all District-owned lands. Currently, an estimated 130,000 trees line the District's roadways. The Urban Forestry Administration plants new street trees annually between November and May and provide help for any issues. Learn more
