We Are The Champions
So we aren’t technically champions…but we sure feel like it thanks to some long-time supporters of Casey Trees — Stonewall Kickball team Kick Tease!
The real MVP’s — Kick Tease won their division on May 15, and since they selected Casey Trees as their charity this season, as a result, Casey Trees received a $1,000 check! Combined with money raised at the league bake sale, the team was able to raise over $1600 for Casey Trees!
So from all of us here at Casey Trees we want to say thank you to our champions — Kick Tease and congratulations again on the successful season!
Stonewall Kickball — a D.C.-based adult kickball league for LGBT individuals and allies — has a strong commitment to philanthropy and community outreach, and as part of that mission each team selects a nonprofit to play for during their season.
