Our Spring 2016 School and Community Tree Planting season kicks off on March 12 and we could not be more excited. We get to plant more than 700 trees across D.C. with people like you!

A lot of preparation goes into the season. All sites are evaluated for the ability to accommodate trees; post planting watering and care plans are developed; tree species are selected, sourced and delivered; Project Organizers trained up; volunteers recruited; tools inventoried and sharpened; and more. Months and months of work go into each five hour planting event.
