Tree Advocates meeting – July 23
Join Keith Anderson, Acting Director of D.C.’s Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Peter Harnik, Director of the Trust for Public Land’s Center for City Park Excellence and Casey Trees to discuss ways to improve the connection between our city’s residents and its parks. We’ll also be asking DPR to adopt a 50 percent canopy goal for city park land, which currently has 36 percent canopy cover.
In addition, you’ll learn how you can make your voice heard with decision makers and keep D.C.’s open spaces green and tree-filled.
