THE LEAFLET

It’s hard to believe, but another summer is almost in the books, which means we must say goodbye to our wonderful Summer Crew.

Over the past 2 months our crew of 9 high schoolers have diligently trekked across the District watering and caring for our newly-planted trees. Often in stifling heat and humidity.

Aside from tree care, our summer crew also had 4 professional development days where they learned about environmental jobs such as tree climbing and pruning from Davey Tree.
