Outreach Volunteers

If getting dirty isn’t your thing we have some exciting news — planting trees is not the only way to volunteer with Casey Trees!

We are happy to announce that we will be training a second round of outreach volunteers this summer! Help us get D.C. to our goal of 40 percent canopy cover by getting the word out about our planting, education, advocacy and other programs — and encouraging new individuals to participate in them!

This summer and fall we will be beefing up our presence at and participation in community gatherings such as neighborhood festivals, farmer’s markets, parades and more and we’d like for you to be part of the fun.

So whether you are a Casey Trees super fan or just read the Leaflet… if you are outgoing, love to talk to people and are interested in learning more about the nitty-gritty of our programs and initiatives, this might just be the volunteer experience for you!
