Cool down for a cool cause

Summer weather is in full force, and both D.C.’s citizens and its trees are in need of a cool down. On the tree front, ensuring that newly planted trees receive the 25 gallons per month they need to survive the summer month is critical. For the people of D.C.? We can offer a slightly sweeter solution.

Continuing last year’s partnership, Shake Shack – Union Station is donating 5% of the sales from their creamy, caramel-filled Beaux-Arts Banana concrete ice cream to Casey Trees, and we can’t think of a tastier way to stay cool in this brutal heat. With chunks of banana and luscious bites of graham cracker from local bakery Pollystyle, this is a treat that can’t be beat.

Stay cool and support D.C.’s trees!
