Casey Trees is proud to offer education and volunteer opportunities for all ages and skill levels year-round. Consider joining us for a program or class on urban forestry - many ISA certified, becoming a Citizen Forester, downloading classroom resources, or applying for our high school summer crew or scholarship.  There is something for everyone at Casey Trees.

Join Casey Trees in a variety settings as we work with communities to restore the tree canopy in our Nation's capital. Whether you participate in an inventory or lend your digging skills at a Community Tree Planting, you can make an enormous contribution towards helping us fulfill our mission. Citizen Foresters

Citizen Foresters are Casey Trees-trained volunteers who serve the Washington, DC community by helping to restore, enhance and protect our city’s tree canopy.

School Resources

Casey Trees works with schools by providing tools, trees and instruction so that students can plant and care for trees on their own school grounds. The ROOTS program emphasizes place-based environmental education to involve students in planting trees in and around their schoolyards.
