There are a number of ways to support Casey Trees through your workplace. Find out from your employer if any of these programs are available to you.
Many companies and organizations recognize the true value of their employees’ philanthropy and offer matching gift programs that can effectively double – or even triple – your charitable gift. Corporate matching gifts are a great way for you to maximize your personal contributions and increase the impact of your gift to Casey Trees.
To find out if your employer has a matching gift program contact the Human Resources department. If your company does offer one, they should provide you with a matching gift form to send to Casey Trees along with your donation. If they don’t, suggest that they start one!
Ask your employer if they sponsor an annual workplace giving campaign that will allow you to make an automatic payroll deductions to be benefit Casey Trees. If they do not, encourage them to do so. Our staff can assist you at any point by presenting at your campaign kick-off, providing sample payroll deduction forms and acknowledging employee donations through a proper stewardship program.
DC One Fund
If you are a District government employee, you can give to Casey Trees through the DC One Fund. Thanks to the District of Columbia government and their partnership with the United Way and the United Black Fund, for over 50 years, DC government employees and retirees have supported nonprofit organizations throughout our nation’s capital through the DC One Fund.
To designate Casey Trees as the recipient of your charitable giving, mark our DC One Fund code 8510 on your pledge form.
